What Can You Expect from Me on Your Wedding Day?

You can expect a story-telling styled approach, which means I'm constantly looking for authentic moments!  There will also be some relaxed posing during portraits, but most of the day will be a candid, story-telling approach.  I photograph the following parts of a wedding day:

  • Getting Ready Photos (Both Bride & Groom)
  • Ceremony 
  • Family Portraits
  • Bride and Groom Portraits
  • Bridal Party Photos
  • Reception

Some couples like to add time to their timeline to include one or more of the following (at No Extra Cost) :

  • First Look 
  • Bridal Boudoir
  • Father First Look

The Following 7 Items are Included in Most of My Photography Collections:

1. Family Heirloom Wedding Album

When you have photos stored digitally, it is easy to forget about them. I purposely have the Family Heirloom Wedding Album as a part of most packages I offer because I believe it is vitally important to have printed memories.

2. Timeline Planning

I will work with your wedding coordinator to make sure there is enough time at the various parts of your day to tell your story in the most extraordinary way possible ! If you do not have a wedding coordinator, I will take the stress off of you by leading you and helping you make the photographic timeline of your day. To find out more details about timeline planning just ask !

3. Hand Crafted Editing

Hand crafted editing is the process of applying a special edit to each individual photo based on lighting, composition, and emotion. What is special about hand crafted editing is that it is customized to your wedding. Many past clients have told me that they hire me not only for my photography, but also my editing.

4. A 2nd Pro Photographer

There will be a 2nd pro photographer capturing your wedding day with me. We hire professional photographers; someone that has their own photography business and not just a friend of a friend with a nice camera :-) One of my 2nd photographers took this image, for example. Having a 2nd photographer makes it seamless to capture events during your wedding that happen simultaneously, such as you walking down the isle and your fiancé's first look at seeing you.

5. Online Gallery

When I am finished editing your images, they will be uploaded to a private online gallery. You, as the bride and groom, can choose who gets to see your wedding photos by sending out the private link. The amazing part about having this gallery is two-fold. First, this gallery is connected to a professional printing lab. So if your friends and family see a photo they want to have printed, they can purchase direct from the gallery without having to go through you! Secondly, your friends and family can also download a high-res image of their choice for a low price! Again, it takes you out of the middle, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your images !!

6. Organized & Planned Family Photos

Prior to the wedding you and I will plan out the family photos that you desire to be captured on your wedding day.

7. Engagement Session

I highly recommend an engagement session with me prior to your wedding! The reason for this is so you can become familiar with me and how I work with a camera. An engagement session is a relaxed time in dressy to casual clothes, going to a place that you enjoy. It could be a park, a downtown area, or even your backyard! I'll teach you many things about posing and lighting during the session so you can carry to your wedding day !

Consider These 3 Special Sessions (below) as Part of Your Wedding Day Story!

A First Look

A "First Look" is a private, intimate session where you see your fiancé just before the ceremony. Some advantages of a first look are: 1. This may be the only time, all day, that you will be alone with your fiancé, until your wedding is over. 2. It's private. Only myself and 2nd photographer will be there. 3. Emotions run high before the ceremony. You can express and share these emotions with the one you love and have the reactions captured by us! 4. Many couples have said that a first look does not take away from the emotion you feel when your bride is walking down the isle during the ceremony!

Bridal Boudoir

If you have the time, we can capture a bridal boudoir session for your sweetie just prior to you getting dressed! I recommend 15-30 minutes of time to capture this for you!

Father - Daughter First Look

Some brides want their dad's reaction of seeing her all dressed up and ready for the wedding. We can fit this in if we have a small segment of 15 minutes! Why not add this to your wedding day story?

Destination Wedding Photography

Thinking of a destination wedding?  Traveling to a tropical location is so fun and can be amazingly cost effective. One of the most special things about a destination wedding is although less people attend, you will create very special memories with those that do attend because of the multi days that are usually involved with a destination wedding.   In addition, many destination wedding locations have free planning as part of their packages. You won't have to worry about décor on a destination wedding, as the location itself will provide amazing backdrops!  Ask me more about destination weddings!
